The ideal candidates for Botox are people who are at least 18 years old, in good health, and not pregnant or breastfeeding. They have realistic expectations regarding the procedure’s results. Botox is not ideal for patients who are allergic to Botox’s ingredients or who have skin infections.
The best candidates for dermal fillers are those who are physically healthy, are non-smokers, are committed to maintaining good skin health, and have realistic goals. They have moderate to severe wrinkles or folds.
Fillers are not ideal for people with extreme allergies, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or people with a skin infection. Those with the latter must postpone the treatment in order to avoid spreading the infection to other areas.

The Procedure

These products are made with hyaluronic acid, the fluid that’s naturally found in the eyes and joints. Injecting these fillers under the skin and into specific facial muscles works to smooth troublesome lines, lubricate tissues, and revitalize the skin.
With Botox, a small needle is used to inject Botox into target muscles without anesthesia. You may experience minor discomfort.
With fillers, the session starts with the staff cleaning your skin, and a topical numbing cream or lotion will be used on the target areas. A thin needle will be used to inject small amounts of fillers under the skin. It might sting or pinch. The session may last a few minutes to an hour.
Here’s what to expect:
Procedures are quick and easy, with no downtime required. Full effects will be seen within 3-10 days, and you’ll be able to enjoy the results for 3-4 months.
